Glossary

A comprehensive list of terms used throughout Pushnami Ads.


A

Active

A status indicating that a campaign or creative is live and running on the network.

Archived

A status indicating that a campaign or creative has been moved to archive and is no longer running.

Audience Rules

Segmentation settings that allow you to target specific audiences based on criteria like state (USA only) and device type (Desktop, Mobile, Tablet).

Auto-Funding

A billing feature that automatically adds funds to your account when your balance falls below a specified threshold, ensuring your campaigns continue running without interruption.


C

Campaign

A container for your advertising efforts that includes settings for audience targeting, scheduling, budget, and one or more creatives.

Clicks

An advertising metric counted each time someone interacts with your ad by clicking on it.

Conversions

An action counted when someone interacts with your ad and you postback the conversion to Pushnami Ads.

CPA (Cost Per Action)

A metric calculated by dividing total spend by the number of conversions. Represents the average cost to acquire one conversion.

CPC (Cost Per Click)

The amount of money you pay each time a user clicks on your campaign item.

Creative

The actual push notification content that users see, including the title, message, image, and destination URL.


D

Daily Spend Limit

An optional budget setting that defines the maximum amount your campaign can spend per day. The system will warn you when a campaign is nearing this limit.

Default Bid

The initial bid amount set for a campaign that automatically applies to new Source IDs as your campaign gains impressions. The minimum allowed bid is $0.10.

Depleted

A campaign status indicating that the entire budget has been spent and the campaign is no longer sending.

Dynamic Variables

Template syntax that allows you to personalize creative content with dynamic data such as date, time, location (city, state, ZIP), and device type.


E

Expiring

A campaign status indicating that the campaign end date is within the next 48 hours.


F

Frozen

A campaign status indicating that all campaigns have been paused due to billing issues with the account.


I

Impressions

A metric counted each time your ad is shown on a search result page or other site. Each new impression adds a Source ID to your Spend tab.


L

Low Funds

A campaign status indicating that the campaign budget is nearly depleted but is still sending on the remaining balance.


P

Paused

A status indicating that a campaign or creative has been manually paused and is not running on the network.

Pending

A status indicating that a campaign or creative is currently being reviewed by the content review team to ensure compliance with advertising policies.

Pending Creatives

A campaign status indicating that a campaign has been created but has no creatives added, and therefore is not sending.

Pending Start Date

A campaign status indicating that the campaign will start running on the network on the entered start date defined in campaign settings.

Push Notification

A clickable message delivered directly to a user's device (desktop or mobile) through their web browser, even when they're not actively browsing.


R

Rejected

A status indicating that a campaign or creative violated advertising policies and is not running. Review the feedback and make necessary changes before resubmitting.


S

Schedule

Campaign settings that define when your campaign should run, including start date, end date, and specific days/hours of the week. All times are in Central Time Zone (CST/GMT-6).

Source ID

The identifier for a specific website where your campaign is receiving traffic. Source IDs appear as soon as they generate an impression. You can adjust bids for high-performing sources or block underperforming ones.

Spent

The total amount of your budget that has been used. This appears as a total on the campaigns page and as a column for each individual campaign.


T

Tracking Parameters

URL parameters added to your creative's destination link that pass back information about the click, such as campaign ID, creative ID, source ID, and other dynamic values.
