Creating a Campaign
The first step to success in Pushnami Ads is creating a campaign. This can be done by selecting "Add Campaign" on your home dashboard.

General Settings
Campaign Name: This is how you would like to reference your campaign. This name is not seen by your audience and is for your internal organization only.

Audience Rules
Target your ideal audience using segmentation rules. The default is "All" but you can narrow your reach using any combination of the following targeting options:
Geographic Targeting
Country: Target users in specific countries. Supported countries include:
- United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia
- France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands
- Ireland, Israel, Japan, Hong Kong
- Singapore, United Arab Emirates
State: For US campaigns, you can target specific states or regions. All 50 US states plus Washington D.C. are available.
Device Targeting
Target users based on their device type:
- Desktop - Traditional computers and laptops
- Mobile - Smartphones
- Tablet - Tablet devices
- Other - Other device types
Subscriber Targeting
Subscriber Age: Target users based on how long they've been subscribed:
- Newer than X days - Target recently subscribed users
- Older than X days - Target long-term subscribers
This is useful for targeting fresh audiences or re-engaging existing subscribers.

Combining Rules
You can combine multiple targeting rules to create precise audience segments. For example:
- Target mobile users in Texas
- Target desktop users who subscribed in the last 30 days
- Target users in California, New York, and Florida
Schedule
Define when your campaign should run with precise control over dates and times.
Date Range
- Start Date: When your campaign begins (defaults to today)
- End Date: When your campaign ends (optional - leave blank for ongoing campaigns)
A campaign can be paused at any time regardless of the schedule.
Active Hours
Control exactly when your campaign runs during the day:
Simple Mode: Apply the same schedule to every day of the week.
Advanced Mode: Set different schedules for each day:
- Select "Add Active Hours"
- Choose the day of the week
- Toggle "All Day" OFF to set specific hours
- Set start and end times
All times are in Central Time Zone (CST/GMT-6).

Budget
Default Bid
The bid amount applied to all traffic sources when your campaign starts. This can be adjusted later based on performance.
- Minimum bid: $0.10 per click
- You can override bids for individual sources or do it automatically with Source Optimization
We recommend you start with a bid > $0.20 to maximize performance, the minimum bid is not competitive. Set up source optimization to automatically adjust bids per source.
Daily Spend Limit
An optional budget cap for your campaign:
- Set the maximum amount to spend per day
- Receive warnings when approaching the limit
- Campaign pauses automatically when limit is reached
Target CPA (Cost Per Action)
Enable optimization mode to automatically adjust bids based on your target cost per conversion:
- Toggle "Optimization" ON
- Enter your target CPA
- The system will automatically bid up or down on sources to reach your target

Creating Your Campaign
Once you have configured all settings, click "Create Campaign" to save your campaign.
After creating your campaign, the next step is to add creatives - the actual push notifications your audience will see.
Your campaign needs at least one approved creative before it can start running. Create your campaign first, then immediately add creatives to minimize wait time during the review process.
